Wot a Life! Calendar 2024
Cheer yourself up with a different original Mabel Lucie Attwell cartoon illustration each month. We have selected a specific cartoon that was originally published in the relavant month in the 1930s.
The ‘Wot A Life’ cartoon series ran in Laughter, the humour section of The Passing Show magazine. Records of the length of the series differ. Some suggest from 1933 to 1937, while others note that the cartoons appeared in The London Opinion, either before or after The Passing Show, and as late as 1943.

Mabel Lucie Attwell dreamt up the Boo-Boos over 100 years ago and they were originally published in the Boo-Boo book series in the 1920's.
